Cody Doescher

Webber Falls, OK

Home-state cowboy Cody Doescher of Webber Falls, Oklahoma, wrote his name in the IPRA history books in 2024, capturing his first IPRA World Championship title in the steer wrestling at the Fabulous Lazy E Arena. Known for past victories in the historic venue, Doescher’s latest accomplishment adds an IPRA Montana Silversmiths buckle to his extensive list of accomplishments. He finished the 2024 season with $33,084.31 in earnings.

A proud IPRA member since 2022, Cody is no stranger to the rodeo world—it's in his blood. With roots in Oklahoma, he and his wife come from deep ties to the IPRA and have spent years chasing success in and out of the arena. Winning the World Champions Rodeo Alliance (WCRA)’s Stampede at the E (also inside the Lazy E Arena) in 2024 propelled him to the top of the standings and paved the way to his first IPRA world title.

Known for his work ethic and tenacity, Cody balances his rodeo career with his professional life in the auction business. Off the dirt, he's a devoted husband and father of two, juggling the demands of family life while continuing to chase his rodeo dreams.

Cody's journey is one of perseverance, tradition, and heart. From the local rodeo grounds of Oklahoma to the bright lights of the Lazy E, the all-around cowboy has built a name for himself through grit, determination, and a deep love for the sport. His first IPRA world title is not just a personal achievement—it’s a proud moment for his family, his hometown, and the entire IPRA community.
