The International Pro Rodeo Association is happy to announce that they will once again in 2022 co-sanction the open, Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Tie Down Roping at the All American Quarter Horse Congress held annually in Columbus, OH. The Congress is one of the most prestigious equine events in the world and is a great partner for the IPRA. The Steer Wrestling and Breakaway Roping will have added money of $2,000 per event and the Tie Down Roping and Team Roping will have $5,000 in added money. After getting feedback from contestants last year there will be adjustments made to the payoff format that will be more in line with a normal rodeo payoff based on number of entries. Online entries are open now and close on August 25th. IPRA members can also enter other events featured at the Congress if eligible such as some registered events or the all new $3,000 added #9.5 team roping. Once again, this year the winners of each class will receive a Quarter Horse Bronze, one of the most recognized trophies in the world. Top 10 finishers will receive awards recognizing their great accomplishment.
